there was once a guy.
his name was tan ah teck
teck had just finished his psle and had recieved his results.
he had done well and was posted to penguin sec school.
teck was tooo scared to go to school.
he alwaes had this fear that people will laugh at him.
you see...
teck is not an ordinary boy.
he was special.
on the first day of school,
teck took a deap breath as he stepped out of the car with the help of his parents.
once he stepped out, everyone around him stared at him..
and in a few moments, they were laughing their heads off.
teck was born with a disabity.
teck was small.
he was as small as a five year old.
he ignored the screams of laughter and walked slowly to the hall with his head up high.
although teck was small, he did not look down on himself.
when he first met his classmates, they mocked him at how small he was.
when the teacher asked him for his name, his voice was soo high pitched that evveryone started laughing.
they say he sounded like mickey mouse.
his eyes glistened with tears. but even so, he did not cry.
he was determined. determined to show the boys that he was able to do anything they could do.
he joined the chess club.
he was in the debate team.
soon....he was the only boy in class who got good marks for nearly every subject.
the boys in his class got jealous. they wanted to teach him a lesson.
after a particular day after pe,,,the guys followed teck to the toilet.
once there, pluto and jupiter followed him into the toilet while mars stood outside to keep a lookout.
teck heard his name being called out.
he turned around and that was the most fatal mistake of his life.
p and j beat him up like anything.
teck could not do anything.
he lay there being beaten up.
they flung him around amd round.
they dunked his head into the toilet bowl full of pee.
tecks head was hit onto the wall.
everything seemed blur to teck.
then he blacked out.
he woke up finding himself in hospital.
with broken legs.
he was lucky his hands were fine.
but however, the very next day was his exams.
he took his exams in bospital.
even with a throbbing headache.
he was determined.................
the results were out and teck was anxious.
all he wanted was to pass.
but he got more.
he got the highest in school.
when he went on stage...
he gave a short speech
"i want to thank all those people who laughed at me, you made me a better person.
i want to thank the guys who beat me up.
you gave me determination.
i want to thank al those who made me like this, and i want to thank God for giving me a mind like this, and a body which i know i will have forever, a body whoch i will apreciate no matter what.
and my parents, especially my mum who died after giving birth to me, and my dad who died due to drug abuse.
thank you."
tears could be seen being shed around the whole hall.
they realised he was strong on the inside.
they did not poke fun at him, but instead looked up to him.
